Tourism
The fun never stops in Covington County, where a unique blend of history, entertainment, outdoor sports and special attractions guarantees a great time for all.  Easy to get to by plane, car, or bus, fantastic food and comfortable lodging, all in the majestic setting of southern hospitality, await the visitor of any age.  Dining options vary in the area, which contains an eclectic mix of restaurant establishments, from savory country cooking by Old Order German Baptist families in Mt. Olive to fish camps, specialty food restaurants and fast-food inns in Collins and Seminary.

The Salem Opera House is the hub of activity the second Saturday of each month with authentic fiddle tunes at the Covington Country Jamboree.
