Covington County is packed with recreation
possibilities. Golfing at the Okatoma Golf
Club just one of the many enjoyments.
Adjacent to one of the best restaurants in
the area, the course features Bermuda
greens and fairways and a gorgeous layout.
Located at Mt. Olive, Dry Creek Water Park
is widely popular for its simple pleasure:
camping, swimming, picnicking, hiking,
boating, and Florida Bass fishing.
Fisherman are also happy with the
trophy-sized lunkers they hook at Lake Mike
Conner, so name after a Covington County
native son, former-Governor Mike Conner.
The Okatoma River, Mississippi's only "white
water", challenges canoeists with a series
of waterfalls and rapids, which spill over
shelves of sandstone and clay. Whether
you're bringing a tent or the RV, there's a
place for you in outdoor Covington.
